Autoimmune disorders cause abnormally low activity or over activity of the immune system. In cases of immune system over activity, the body attacks and damages its own tissues (autoimmune diseases). Immune deficiency diseases decrease the body's ability to fight invaders, causing vulnerability to infections.
In response to an unknown trigger, the immune system may begin producing antibodies that instead of fighting infections, attack the body's own tissues. Treatment for autoimmune diseases generally focuses on reducing immune system activity.
The list of Autoimmune disorders is expansive. Some examples of autoimmune cases we have treated are Addison's Disease, Celiac Disease, Chron's Disease, Fibromyalgia, Hashimoto's, Interstital Cystitis, Lyme Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Pancreatitis, Psoriasis, Rheumotoid Arthritis, and Sclerodomo.
The list is expansive and we more than likely treat many more labeled as autoimmune disorders.
Each new patient dealing with an autoimmune disorder gets a one hour consultation with Dr. Rucker in order to review their medical history. This allows Dr. Rucker to build a protocol based on the patient's respective needs.
Many of our patients dealing with an autoimmune disorder have had extensive labwork done prior to visiting our office. Typically we can use the previous medical records during the initial consultation. If Dr. Rucker wants additional labwork performed we can have our patients get the labs performed after the initial consultation.
If the patient has not had labs done in over a year a lab slip can be sent to the patient prior to the initial consultation.
That depends on the recommendation of Dr. Rucker. Some of our patients come in for weekly IV Therapy, while some patients use our Ozone Steam Sauna a couple of times per week and our PEMF on a daily basis.
It all depends on Dr. Rucker's recommendation and figuring out the best protocol for each individual patient.
We love our customers, so feel free to visit during normal business hours.
